I met Florida artist Irv Rudley a few weeks ago at the Figurative Art Convention and Expo (FACE 2018). Irv suggested that we photograph one another and paint portraits to be exchanged in the future.

Today Irv drove to Naples to deliver the portraits he painted of me and Richard in exchange for the portrait I painted of him. We compared information about our favorite figurative artists and their painting techniques, visited an outdoor art fair, strolled through local galleries, walked the Naples pier, and had lunch on 5th Avenue South. It was a really nice art-centric day.
