Mary LaGarde with “Winter I – Zeus”

Naples artist Mary LaGarde climbed the slopes of Echo Mountain in Colorado to find an old stand of aspen trees.  She painted a series of oil paintings to capture the character of the trees she found there.  Her paintings reflect the changing appearance of the aspens during each of the four seasons. 

One of her paintings, Zeus, was recently selected as a Finalist by the judges in the 13th annual Art Renewal Center International Art Salon.
