I have tried everything to organize my brushes.  I’ve used jars, plastic bins, and even a wooden box with holes drilled into the top.  None of those were acceptable solutions.

Finally, my husband and I found a way I can organize my brushes the proper way.  I bought a stainless steel cooking / cooling rack at Bed Bath & Beyond.

My husband then cut four-inch segments of pvc pipe to serve as legs.  He drilled two holes in each leg and attached them to the rack using plastic cable ties.  He sat the rack on top of a soft rubberized kitchen shelf liner we found at Home Depot.  This keeps the bottom of the brushes from sliding sideways.  The result is a rack that keeps my brushes standing upright and keeps them separated.  Problem solved.
